Hi! I’m daniela.

I’m a licensed social worker (LMSW) based in Atlanta, Georgia, where I live with my husband Andrew, my three boys, and my goldendoodle, Reggie.

My journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Towson University, followed by a Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Over the last decade, I've honed my skills and expertise, cultivating a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by teens and their families.

For the past nine years, I worked as a high school social worker in the dynamic landscape of New York City's public school system. There, I provided counseling to a diverse group of adolescents grappling with a myriad of challenges. Prior to that, I worked in a therapeutic foster care program, offering individual and group therapy to youth with a spectrum of clinical, social, and emotional needs. My experience as a school counselor revealed a crucial need for specialized support for parents navigating the difficult teenage years. While my primary role was counseling students, I often found myself counseling parents, as well. Recognizing a gap in tailored guidance for parents of teens, Spark Teens was born.

At Spark Teens, we understand that every teenager and every family is unique. With a decade of experience working with adolescents, my approach centers on listening, collaboration, and guiding individuals in navigating the complexities of adolescence. I believe in providing specific and tailored guidance to empower both teenagers and their families to thrive through the challenging teenage years.

Spark Teens is not just a service; it's a dedicated space where relationships are nurtured, challenges are addressed, and every individual is empowered to shine.Your journey is unique, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
